Our fully featured climbing shells for active use in sustained brutal weather are as light and mobile as can be without compromising waterproofness. This season, we've enhanced compressibility and durability, reduced the weight, and sped up surface dry times with the addition of our new stitch-free CSS N seams. We've also added 3-layer reinforcements, on both the jacket and pants, where they're needed most. Jacket detailing includes two internal and four external pockets; pit zips; a roll-down, three-way Optipull hood; and a removable between-the-Iegs strap to secure the hem. Pant details: Bombay zip fly for no-hassle relief when nature calls (match up with SuperFly base layers at patagonia.com); two- way, water-resistant side zippers; fully featured internal stretch gaiters; and wraparound ankle scuff guards. The men's pants also have removable suspenders. The cut on both the jacket and pants is contoured and trim (women's are femininely shaped) and slightly shorter this season. Imported.
